Notes: Lightyear Wireless is an MVNO ( mobile virtual network operator ). An MVNO is a company that provides wireless mobile phone service but does not itself own any licensed frequencies, and most often does not have the infrastructure to operate a mobile telephone service. MVNOs can be loosely referred to as resellers. Marketing Tools: Once enrolled, Lightyear representatives receive a retail site ( online wireless store ), a recruiting site, and access to the main site ( representative login / additional products / company back office ). Marketing materials include flyers, brochures, pre-made banner ads, autoresponders and tracking software. Some materials are only available if the representative enrolls under the “Gold” package.
Enrollment Fees The basic enrollment fee is $49.99 for the sales kit, which includes your first month of the web marketing suite and qualifies you for commission opportunities. For $299 members may enroll in the “Gold” package, which includes the marketing suite, qualifies for all commission opportunities and marketing materials, and representative starts with the rank “Senior Manager”.
